I was in Pakistan Spring 2009 doing some work for the European Commission and spend an afternoon at Shalimar Gardens in Lahore. I enjoyed watching these craftsmen slowly and carefully restore Shalimar to some of its original beauty. It’s also gratifying to see this kind of craftsmanship still survives in the modern age.
